What is thermo-bonding and why does it matter?
Traditional footballs are stitched together — each stitch hole is a point where water can enter the ball during wet conditions, gradually increasing weight and changing the ball's feel and flight. Thermo-bonding uses heat to fuse panels together without stitching, eliminating those water entry points. The ball plays more consistently in wet conditions and maintains its certified weight throughout the game.
