The Ride On Floor Scrubber That Cleans a Full Basketball Court in Under 10 Minutes

The Tennant T7 is the ride on floor scrubber built for the facilities that can't afford downtime — basketball and netball stadiums running back-to-back sessions, school gymnasiums that need to be clean before first period, and multi-purpose sports centres where the floor takes a beating every single day. With an 800mm scrub path and productivity up to 2,760 m² per hour, one operator can clean a full basketball court in under 10 minutes and leave it squeegee-dry and safe for traffic immediately after.

What separates the T7 from a standard ride-on scrubber is Tennant's ec-H2O NanoClean® technology — an on-board system that electrically converts ordinary tap water into an effective cleaning solution, using up to 70% less water and significantly less detergent than conventional scrubbing. At an operating noise level as low as 67 dBA — quieter than a normal conversation — the T7 can run during school hours or between stadium sessions without disrupting anyone.

The Tennant T7 ride on floor scrubber — ec-H2O NanoClean® technology, quiet operation, and up to 2,760 m² of coverage per hour.

Tennant T7 ride-on scrubber · battery pack and on-board charger · pad driver · squeegee assembly (factory set, no tools required) · operator manual

Basketball and Netball Stadiums Running Multiple Sessions per Day High-traffic courts accumulate scuff marks, sweat, and spilled drinks between every session. The T7 cleans a full basketball court in under 10 minutes and leaves it dry and safe for the next game — no contractor required, no session delays.
Schools with Large Gymnasiums or Multi-Purpose Halls The T7 fits through standard doorways and into a standard passenger lift. At 67 dBA it runs without disrupting classes next door, and QA Controls™ lock in preferred settings so any staff member delivers a consistent result — no specialist cleaning staff required.
Councils Managing Community Sport and Recreation Centres Multiple courts, high daily usage, and limited cleaning staff. The T7's up to 4.5-hour runtime in economy mode means a complete facility clean on a single charge, with automatic brush and squeegee shutoff when idle to protect the machine between areas.
Associations Running Representative Competitions and Events Tournaments, presentation nights, and multi-game days leave floors in rough condition fast. The T7 restores them between rounds without pulling volunteers off other jobs or waiting on an external cleaner.
Facility Managers Responsible for Maintaining Premium Playing Surfaces Hardwood courts, synthetic surfaces, and polished concrete all require regular proper cleaning to maintain their condition and safety rating. The T7 delivers that standard consistently — without chemical damage, without excess moisture, and without the floor being out of action for extended drying time.
Anyone can operate it from day one — Touch-n-Go controls, one scrub button No specialist training required. Staff and volunteers hop on and go. The squeegee system requires no tools for maintenance, the blade is factory-set at the optimum recovery angle, and QA Controls™ mean the settings don't drift between operators.
Floors are dry and safe for traffic immediately after cleaning The T7's equal-pressure parabolic squeegee recovers all cleaning solution from the floor — including through 180-degree turns. No wet floor hazard, no waiting between sessions. Courts are ready to play on the moment the T7 passes through.
ec-H2O NanoClean® — up to 70% less water, no chemical smell Tennant's on-board technology electrically converts tap water into a cleaning solution that cuts through grime without detergent. Floors come out cleaner, dry faster, and carry none of the chemical residue or smell that lingers in enclosed spaces.
Hygenic® tanks — fully cleanable, no mould, no bacteria build-up Fully accessible solution and recovery tanks reduce the mould, bacteria, and odours that develop in sealed tanks over time. The built-in drain hose makes emptying easy — no heavy lifting, no spillage.
Quiet enough to run during the school day or between games At as low as 67 dBA — quieter than a normal conversation — the T7 won't disrupt a class happening next door or a warm-up on the adjacent court. No need to schedule cleans outside operating hours.
Class-leading warranty — 3 years on parts and labour, 10 years on tanks The T7 is engineered for daily commercial use and backed by 3 years or 1,500 hours on parts and labour, and 10 years on the rotationally-moulded polyethylene tanks. Built to deliver consistent performance for the life of your facility.

Grant Funding — We Handle It End to End

Commercial floor scrubbers like the Tennant T7 are regularly funded through state government sport and recreation grants, local council community infrastructure funding, and school facility upgrade programs. Many clubs, schools, and councils that purchase this machine do so without spending a cent of their own budget.

At Club Captain we don't just supply the equipment — we help you find the right grant, scope the project, build a strong application, and submit with confidence. We provide itemised quotes formatted specifically to meet grant funding criteria.

Is the Tennant T7 suitable for hardwood basketball courts?

Yes. The T7 with ec-H2O NanoClean® is well suited to hardwood court surfaces because it uses significantly less water than conventional scrubbing and leaves floors dry almost immediately. Less moisture contact means less risk to the timber. Always confirm your court manufacturer's recommended cleaning method and use the appropriate pad type for timber surfaces.

Does it fit through standard doorways?

Yes. The T7 is designed to pass through standard doorways and fit in a standard passenger lift — making it practical for multi-level facilities and venues where the scrubber needs to move between areas.

How loud is it? Can we run it while the facility is in use?

The T7 operates at as low as 67 dBA — roughly the level of a normal conversation. It can be used during school hours, between sessions, or alongside other activity in adjacent spaces without disruption.

Do we need specialist operators or trained cleaning staff?

No. Touch-n-Go controls and a single scrub button mean any staff member or volunteer can operate the T7 competently from day one. The QA Controls™ system locks in your preferred settings so the result is consistent regardless of who is operating it.

What surfaces can the T7 clean?

The T7 is suitable for hardwood floors, synthetic sports surfaces, polished concrete, tiles, and sealed vinyl. It is not suitable for carpet, unsealed concrete, or outdoor surfaces. If you're unsure whether the T7 is right for your specific surface, call us on 1300 715 818 before you order.

Can schools use a purchase order?

Yes. We accept school purchase orders and can provide itemised quotes formatted for principal or business manager approval. Call us on 1300 715 818 or submit a quote request here.

Is the T7 eligible for grant funding?

Yes, in many cases. Commercial floor scrubbers are commonly funded through state sport and recreation grants, local council community facility programs, and school facility upgrade funding. Start with The Grant Playbook → or call us on 1300 715 818 to discuss your situation.

What is the warranty?

The Tennant T7 is backed by 3 years or 1,500 hours on parts and labour (excluding batteries), and 10 years on the rotationally-moulded polyethylene tanks. Engineered for daily commercial use and built to last the life of your facility.

Once your order is confirmed we get it moving straight away. You'll receive tracking as soon as it leaves the warehouse. If you have questions about setup, first-use configuration, or getting the most from the ec-H2O NanoClean® system on your specific surface — call us on 1300 715 818 and we'll walk you through it. If you need the machine before a specific date — a season start, a facility opening, or a grant acquittal deadline — let us know and we'll do everything we can to make that happen.

Free shipping Australia-wide — metro, regional, and rural. No surprise freight costs at checkout.

Need Coverage in the Tight Spots Too?

The T7 handles your main courts and open floor areas. For changerooms, corridors, foyer areas, and anywhere the ride-on can't reach, the Tennant T260 walk-behind scrubber is the natural partner. Many schools and stadiums run both — complete floor coverage from wall to wall, one brand, one service relationship.
